We will never sell your data or use your family's moments for advertising.

To provide the MemoPod service, we collect the following information:
Information You Provide to Us:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, and password when you create an account. We also save your selected parent type (e.g., "Dad," "Mom") to personalize your experience.
- Family Information: The names and optional birth dates of the children you add to your account. This information is used solely for you to organize your memories.
- Your Treasured Memories: The content you create, including text notes, photos, voice notes, and videos, along with the emotional context and parental reflections you add. This is your most sensitive data, and we treat it with the highest level of security.
Information We Collect Automatically:
- Usage Data: We collect anonymized data about how you interact with our app (e.g., features used, session duration) to help us improve the service. This data is not linked to your personal memories.
- Device Information: We collect technical information about your device (e.g., OS version, device model) for crash reporting and to ensure the app functions correctly.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used for one purpose: to provide and improve your MemoPod experience.
- To Operate the App: To create your account, store and display your memories, and enable features like multi-child tagging.
- To Communicate With You: To send you important account notifications or respond to your support requests.
- To Improve Our Service: To understand how the app is being used through anonymized analytics, allowing us to fix bugs and build better features.
3. How We Protect Your Information (Our Security Promise)
- End-to-End Encryption (E2EE): This is our core security promise. All your memories (photos, videos, voice notes, text) are end-to-end encrypted. This means that from the moment they leave your device to when you view them again, they are unreadable by anyone else—including us at MemoPod.
- Secure Storage: We use industry-leading, GDPR-compliant cloud providers with robust physical and network security to store your encrypted data.
- Data Minimization: We only collect the data that is absolutely necessary to provide the MemoPod service.
4. Your Rights and Control (Your Data Belongs to You)
In accordance with GDPR, you have full control over your data.
- Right to Access & Portability: You can download a complete export of all your memories and account data at any time from the app's settings.
- Right to Rectification: You can edit your account and child information at any time.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time. Once deleted, your data is irretrievably removed from our systems.
5. Compliance with COPPA (Protecting Children's Privacy)
MemoPod is an app for parents and legal guardians over the age of 18. It is not directed at children for their own use. By creating an account, you as the parent are providing consent to store the memories and information about your own children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or through an in-app notification.
